Museum of the African Diaspora

Third Eye has amplified San Francisco’s Museum of the African Diaspora, or MoAD, as it evolves its mission to place the contemporary art and artists of the African Diaspora at the center of the global cultural conversation. Working closely with museum leadership, Third Eye’s work with MoAD has directly led to major recognition for its unique global mission as well as its work to uplift the cultural community of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Notably, Third Eye worked to launch the inaugural edition of Nexus: SF/Bay Area Black Art Week in October 2024, a wide-reaching event that unifies the entire cultural community of the region under the banner of Black and African art. Further work with the museum involves consulting on their wide range of cultural programs that includes residences, their celebrated EAP program, and deepening engagement with the Black culinary scene of San Francisco.
